Susan De Bourcy

Susan De Bourcy is a senior Talent Management leader with 20 years professional experience helping organizations unleash the power of their people to deliver their strategic goals. She has global experience consulting with and working for some of the world’s largest companies to apply a business-oriented, data-driven approach to elevate the quality and impact of their talent. 
Susan joined Novartis, a global pharmaceuticals company with 110,000 employees and annual revenues exceeding $47B, in 2017 and is currently Global Head, Talent Management Strategy and Innovation. She is responsible for the design, implementation and evolution of Novartis’s global talent strategy and is the global owner for organizational talent review, executive talent planning, global succession planning, business-critical roles and strategic skills. In addition, Susan is driving the organization’s transition to the future of working as the Talent Lead for Novartis’ Choice with Responsibility program.
Prior to joining Novartis, Susan spent three years at Kellogg Company, as a leader in the Global Talent and Organization Effectiveness center of excellence. She spent the first fourteen years of her as a management consultant, advising international clients from various industries in the areas of Talent, Organization Design, Change Management and Learning.
Susan has a Master of Science degree from Northwestern University in Learning and Organizational Change and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University in History and European Cultural Studies. She holds multiple certifications, including SHRM Senior Certified Professional, ATD Certified Professional in Talent Development, Hogan Assessments and William Bridges Leading Organizational Transitions. She is an avid runner and certified barre instructor and enjoys the travel opportunities afforded from her home base in central Europe.
